My Nook Color Case

I am a HUGE fan of Etsy, I love to purchase things on Etsy, sell things on Etsy and find inspiration on Etsy. As I mentioned in my last post I purchased a Nook Color on Ebay! I can not wait for it to arrive!! I was looking for cases and cover ideas and came across this Etsy Store called Birdiful Stitches She has 3 different patterns for iPads and e-readers! Her patterns come with measurements or templates for the Kindle, I pad, nook and Kobo... I purchased these two

I started one last night after putting the kids to bed and finished it up today. It is not perfection at all but I wanted to do a trial run with some cheap fabric I got at Wal-Mart ages ago and then make some other ones for gifts and possibly to sell. The great thing about Birdiful Stitches is her patterns are not for personal use only. She encourages you to make tons!

So here is my final project :) I had fun making it.
I really don't care for the fabric on the inside of the case but again it was my trial run :) I had fun! I love the pockets too!! The tutorials are easy to follow and so fun to make!! I can not wait to make more!!

Thanks for visiting :)

  1. I just purchased the padded e-reader cover from them before I found your post lol. I'm not that great at sewing, so I'm hoping that I can easily figure these out lol. At the least hopefully my mom can help me figure them out hahaha. I think your cover came out beautifully!
