An Overdue Update

I realized I have not updated my blog in quite a while, I have done a few quilt projects and am able to check off some goals on my sewing resolution

I have done a lot of sewing this Winter/Spring because it has been cold and either snowy or rainy... Now that we are finally getting warm weather and our yard is completely not landscaped I cant see myself doing any sewing this summer.

I am addicted to Craftsy! I have not only purchased classes but patterns as well... Here are some of the patterns I have tried.
Kleenex Box Cover
Walker Totes
My quilt guild's goal is to make 80 of these totes, I made a total of five.

I have also been making quilts for my etsy store.
these are all baby quilts
I am really enjoying experimenting with new patterns, techniques and tricks... I made this paper pieced pillow for a friend's little girl for her birthday. She loves Jasmine and was very excited! It was a fun learning experience. This was a free pattern I found on pinterest.

My quilt guild also had a mystery table runner this year and I made 3 of them using Honey Crisp fabric line I purchased from hawthorne fabrics

This next project was a Birthday gift I was working on for my sister in law Amanda, she has wanted a quilt from me for quite some time. I finally decided this year I would make her a quilt for her birthday. It came a month late because the fabric got lost in the mail, then they sent it to the wrong address... long story short... I am glad it is finally done!

I used Birds & Berries by Moda

I found this pattern on Moda Bakeshop. I added borders to it to make it larger.

And my most recent quilt... I finally tried the jelly roll race, the easiest quilt I have ever made! And I LOVE the way it turned out! I used the line Flirt by Moda for this and 2 yards of minky for the back. It is so soft and snuggly. This one is being auctioned off online for the Relay for Life walk I am doing in June
I used a free motion pattern for the quilt above and this quilt called paisley echo, its my new favorite thing to free motion! I am moving on from my favorite stippling.

 So that's all! :)

Thanks for stopping by!
